Although the criticism regarding lack of suggestions for dealing with issues is valid, overall the review was harsh. There really aren't other books on this subject so there really isn't anywhere else to look. The book helps you think about and understand the impact of the sibling relationship. Also it helps you realize that other people have faced similar problems. I thought there were excellent insights. I agree that there are valid criticisms to the way the interviewees' stories were repeated and the lack of suggestions to deal with the situation, the overall value and insights outweigh the flaws in the book. I found it to be very helpful to my situation. That alone validates the book.
